On top of that, the Grim Reaper Scorestreak that first appeared in Black Ops 6 is also reportedly coming back. If that wasn’t enough to get excited about, Treyarch dropped a bombshell about a new map included in the seasonal update.

Treyarch kept the receipts, revisited that request months later, and quote-tweeted it with the thinking face emoji, indicating that Fringe is coming back.

CharlieIntel went one step further and confirmed, “Fringe MP map from Black Ops 3 will return in Black Ops 6 MP with Season 04.”

Fringe first appeared in BO3 and is set in a space launch facility in rural Southern California. The map uses a traditional three-lane format and was designed specifically with wall running in mind.

Coincidentally, new leaks revealed that wall-running is returning in Black Ops 7 after it was found in the BO6 game files. This raises questions about the movement feature potentially coming back even earlier.
